We recently had the opportunity to carry out a mobile detail on an impressive McLaren Artura, one of the latest performance models from McLaren Automotive.

The owner contacted us to refresh the vehicle with a professional clean, both inside and out. Even with careful ownership, regular driving can quickly lead to a build-up of road grime, brake dust and interior dust, especially on high-performance vehicles that are driven and enjoyed.

Exterior Detailing

The exterior of the McLaren was first treated to a thorough and safe wash process to remove road contamination while protecting the delicate paintwork.

The process included:

• Pre-wash and snow foam to loosen dirt and grime
• Safe two-bucket hand wash using pH-neutral shampoo
• Detailed cleaning of wheels and tyres
• Careful drying using soft microfibre towels

This method ensures the paintwork is cleaned safely while reducing the risk of swirl marks or damage to the finish.

Interior Cleaning

Attention then moved to the interior of the vehicle. Supercars such as the Artura feature a mix of premium materials including leather, Alcantara and carbon fibre, all of which require careful handling.

The interior received a full clean which included:

• Vacuuming carpets and floor mats
• Cleaning and wiping down interior surfaces
• Light cleaning of leather and trim areas
• Removing dust and fingerprints from interior panels

This left the cabin looking fresh and well presented while maintaining the quality of the materials inside.

The Result

Once the detail was complete, the McLaren Artura looked significantly refreshed both inside and out. The exterior regained its clean, glossy appearance while the interior felt fresh and tidy again.
