The 2026 Audi SQ6 e-tron is the high-performance member of Audi’s Q6 e-tron family, combining Audi’s S-model performance with fully electric power. The Q6 e-tron was introduced in 2024 as Audi’s first production model built on the new Premium Platform Electric (PPE) architecture, marking an important step in Audi’s next generation of electric vehicles. The SQ6 e-tron features dual electric motors, quattro all-wheel drive and up to 360 kW (489 PS) of continuous system output, with additional power available through launch control.
With its aggressive S styling, wide stance, distinctive lighting and instant electric performance, the SQ6 e-tron represents Audi’s approach to combining luxury, technology and performance in an electric SUV. The 2026 model continues this formula as one of Audi’s flagship performance-focused electric SUVs.

PPF Preparation & Installation Process
Initial exterior clean:
We first carried out a thorough wash of the entire vehicle, making sure every individual panel and area of the car was carefully cleaned and attended to. This was essential to remove dirt, road grime and other contaminants before beginning the PPF installation process.
Panel-by-panel preparation:
Once the initial wash was completed, each panel receiving PPF was carefully prepared using an alcohol-based cleaning solution. This ensured that any remaining grime, oils, residue or contaminants were removed from the paintwork, leaving the surface as clean as possible for the film application.
PPF pattern preparation:
The required PPF patterns were then printed/cut using our PPF cutting machine, allowing each individual piece to be accurately shaped to the specific panels of the SQ6 e-tron. This provides a precise fit while minimising unnecessary cutting directly on the vehicle.
Careful film application:
Each individual piece of PPF was handled with extreme care before being positioned onto its corresponding panel. Once correctly aligned, the film was carefully applied using a professional PPF squeegee, gradually working across the panel to achieve a smooth and consistent installation.
Removing air bubbles and imperfections:
Particular attention was given to ensuring that no air bubbles, creases, contamination or other imperfections were trapped beneath the film. Each section was carefully inspected and worked over to achieve a clean, seamless appearance.
Final drying and finish:
Once the PPF had been installed, the protected areas were carefully dried using clean microfibre towels. This removed any remaining moisture and helped leave the vehicle with a clean, dry and professional finish.
Front-End PPF Protection
For this particular Audi SQ6 e-tron, PPF was applied specifically to the front of the vehicle, where the paintwork is most exposed to road debris, stone chips, insects and general road contamination.
Choosing to protect only the front end can be a more cost-effective solution than wrapping the entire vehicle. The customer receives protection on some of the most vulnerable and frequently impacted areas without paying the additional cost of covering every panel of the car.
This approach provides a practical balance between paint protection, appearance and overall cost, while still helping preserve the condition of the SQ6 e-tron’s front-end paintwork.
