Lamborghini Urus 

The Lamborghini Urus was introduced in 2018 as Lamborghini’s first modern production SUV, bringing the brand’s unmistakable Italian styling and high-performance engineering into a more practical SUV format. Designed to combine everyday usability with supercar-level performance, the Urus features an aggressive exterior, luxurious interior and powerful twin-turbocharged V8 engine. Since its launch, the Urus has become one of Lamborghini’s most successful and recognisable models, appealing to drivers who want the presence and practicality of an SUV without sacrificing the performance and character associated with Lamborghini.

PPF Preparation & Application Process

Initial Wash & Preparation: We first carried out a thorough wash of the Lamborghini Urus, making sure the entire exterior was carefully treated. Every panel was inspected and cleaned to remove dirt, dust, grime, road debris and any other contamination that could affect the PPF application. Taking the time to properly prepare the vehicle at this stage was essential for achieving the best possible finish.

Detailed Panel Cleaning: Once the initial wash was completed, we went over the vehicle panel by panel, ensuring each individual area was as clean as possible before beginning the PPF installation. We paid particular attention to the edges, contours and areas where dirt and debris can easily collect, helping to create the cleanest possible surface for the film.

PPF Pattern Preparation: With the vehicle fully prepared, we began working with the satin paint protection film. The PPF patterns were accurately cut using our specialist cutting machine, producing pieces designed specifically to follow the shape and contours of the Urus. This allowed us to achieve precise coverage while maintaining the vehicle’s original lines and styling.
Careful PPF Application: Each individual piece of PPF was handled carefully before being positioned onto the relevant panel. We took our time to correctly align the film and ensure it followed the contours of the vehicle without compromising the final appearance.

Squeegee Application: Once positioned, we carefully worked the film across the panels using a PPF squeegee. This allowed us to push out trapped moisture and air while ensuring the film bonded smoothly to the surface. We paid close attention to make sure there were no air bubbles, creases or dirt particles trapped underneath the film.

Working Around the Entire Vehicle: We continued this process across the whole Lamborghini Urus, treating every panel with the same level of care and attention to detail. Each section was checked as we progressed to ensure the PPF remained smooth, accurately positioned and consistent with the surrounding panels.

Final Drying: After completing the PPF installation, we carefully dried the vehicle using clean microfibre cloths. This removed any remaining moisture and left the exterior clean and presentable while allowing us to properly inspect the newly installed film.

Final Finish: The completed satin PPF gives the Urus a sleek, refined and distinctive appearance, enhancing the aggressive bodywork while providing paint protection. Once fully cleaned and dried, the satin finish was able to stand out properly, showcasing the Lamborghini’s curves, body lines and overall design in its full beauty.
